Vale Peter Fitchett

Dear Member Clubs,

It is with a heavy heart the CSB board advises you of Peter Fitchett’s passing.

We pass on our sincere condolences to the Family and Friends.

Long associated at McKinnon CC as a player, Committee member and President, Peter also served on the CSB Board as a Director. Peter was responsible for a lot of work in assisting the cricket communities in Melbourne and responsible for helping in the initial setting up of the CSB competition.

He passed away on Sunday and his service details are as noted on McKinnon CC Facebook by Cam, his son and a former player at the Club.

CSB requests that all clubs wear black arm bands and observe a minute silence, prior to the commencement of games this weekend as an expression of respect.

"A service for Dad will be held at Tobin Brothers Cheltenham, 147 Park Road at 10am Friday 10 February.

Following this and throughout the afternoon, we will be at the McKinnon Cricket Club for drinks and finger food. Dad wanted it to be a positive vibe so let’s enjoy it!"
