Meet the CSB Board
Cricket Southern Bayside is overseen by an independent board of directors, consisting of 6 elected directors and up to 3 appointed directors.
Elected directors are nominated and voted on by member clubs and serve rotating 3 year terms for a maximum of 3 consecutive periods. The board is then able to appoint on an annual basis 3 further directors based on skills and competencies.
The board operate under a constitution designed to follow the key principles of governance as advised by the Australian Sports Commission and aligned to the Consumer Affairs Victoria model rules for Incorporated Associations. The constitution was prepared by legal firm Lander & Rogers and adopted by the founding member clubs at an Extraordinary General Meeting in 2016.
Graeme Cunnington - Chair
Graeme is an ANZ Bank Finance Executive - Wealth Solutions and Partnerships, formerly Head of Finance Corporate & Commercial Banking ANZ and Acting CFO ANZ Bank Australia. He is a Life Member of the Parkdale United Cricket Club where he was President for 14 years having also held the roles of Secretary and Treasurer, is a current general committee member, and played for the club from 1978/79 – 2008/09 clocking up some 219 games. Graeme has also been Vice President and Treasurer at the Mordialloc Braeside Junior Football Club and was made a life member there in 2013. Graeme has also held the position of board member of Region 15 (South East Breakers) a role he held 2012-17.
Martine Harris - AGCC Chair
Martine Harris is the proud parent of two enthusiastic cricket playing children and a senior corporate leader with a depth and breadth of expertise gained across a range of industry sectors specialising in complex financial and commercial transactions, underlying performance improvement, statutory and regulatory affairs, risk, and acquisitions, demergers and divestments.
As a highly proficient communicator who prioritises organisation-wide engagement, Martine brings her significant corporate experience to the Board to provide a perspective focused on growth of the game, particularly as it relates to female participation.
Tim Boyce - ISEC Chair
Tim has had a long involvement in Community Sport, originally with Glenburn Tennis Club where he served on various committees for over a dozen years. He was a coach and Junior Committee member at Mount Waverley CC before becoming Junior President, a role he held for 5 years in a period where the club was able to grow its junior teams from 8 to 20. He also dabbled with playing in one of the Mount Waverley Veteran’s teams, with moderate success.
Tim is a Life Member of ISEC. He initially became Treasurer of SD&CCL, then Vice President when ISEC was formed. Tim was part of the CSB/ISEC integration team that facilitated the initial integration vote by ISEC clubs and became President in 2019/20. His business, Strategic Property Partners, is a sponsor of Prahran CC where his son James plays. Tim is a CA whose career started at PwC and was followed by a long stint at Coles Group where he was Director of Property.
Adrian McKenzie - CSB Finance
Adrian was elected to the Board in 2024 having been involved in community cricket for over 30 years. He is a life member of the South Caulfield Cricket Club, having been a player, committee member and junior coach. Adrian has more recently been involved with the Washington Park Cricket Club as a junior committee member and coach supporting his boys' cricket careers. He has been also extensively involved in local junior football and Auskick with Glen Eira, Bentleigh, and St Paul's Football clubs. He has been committee member with the Australian Cricket Society for over 20 years and is currently vice-president.
Away from cricket Adrian is a CFO who has worked in both locally and overseas for an international consulting firm working on a range clients across a variety industries, acted as CFO and company secretary for several ASX listed companies and most recently has worked in the not-for-profit sector supporting social and affordable housing for women. Adrian is a member of the Institute of Charted Accountants and Governance Institute of Australia.
Phil Burns - CSB Umpires
Phil joins the CSB Board for the 2024/25 season and will be responsible for our umpiring division.

Trudee Simpson - Woman’s Competition Group
Trudee Simpson brings a wealth of experience to the CSB Board, having previously served on various committees with a focus on community engagement and participation. She was elected to the Board in 2024 having been involved in the CSBW Competition Management Group and on the committee for Mackie Cricket Club as Head of Women’s Cricket previously. In addition to her community cricket roles, Trudee has also served as Treasurer and Apparel Co-ordinator for St Peters Football Club.
With an extensive background in corporate leadership as the Head of Lease Management at Coles Supermarkets, Trudee is dedicated to leveraging her corporate acumen to support and grow women’s community cricket, ensuring a positive and sustainable future for Cricket Southern Bayside.
John Hindmarsh - Men’s Competition Group
John is a passionate participant and follower of various sports. Several decades involvement with the Murrumbeena Cricket Club included modest on-field performance coupled with a more meaningful off-field contribution. He has held various positions in the club, with an extended tenure as Chairman of Selectors. John is proud to be a life member of Murrumbeena.
As a Director of Cricket Southern Bayside, John’s focus will be on the men’s competition, however he also has a broad passion for expanding, continual improvement and ensuring the inclusiveness of the game.
A career in the Victorian Government saw John hold financial and strategy development management roles across diverse agencies. Tourism was a focus for a majority of his career and he enjoyed working in a complex industry with passionate and dedicated people.
Outside of cricket, John joins the annual rollercoaster ride of supporting the St Kilda Football Club. Other interests include creative writing, travel and catching up with friends, old and new.
